We have a staff of IMO brand ambassadors who are students themselves and are embedded on college campuses around the country.
Our Mission
Gen Z wields an unprecedented amount of influence. In addition to making their own buying decisions as young adults, they are also influencing both the generation ahead and behind them in the process.
We believe that marketers are just beginning to understand the full impact that Gen Z represents and are committed to helping connect brands with students so that they can gain valuable insight and authentic feedback on marketing and new product ideas.
How It Works
In My Opinion connects your research project to our web app on students’ smartphones. They’re paid $5 for each completed survey. They love it because it's a quick, easy way to make money - or put the funds toward a charity fundraiser (with a sorority or fraternity, for example). Brands and research teams love it because they get fast, cost-efficient access and results from a key, hard-to-reach (and recruit) target.
The I.M.O. Fair Trade Model
The IMO business model is based upon fair trade. We have assembled a diverse and engaged panel of verified college students who are interested in thoughtfully sharing their beliefs with marketers in exchange for fair compensation – about $5 to $10 per survey. In exchange, marketers get intentional responses and true insight for their investment.
Our Story
In My Opinion, LLC was founded by Washington University MBA's Jack Kurzu and George Teslovich while enrolled in the Olin MBA program. As entrepreneurial students, they witnessed how Generation Z had already changed so many things due to their beliefs and ability to organize. They also realized how most companies had a hard time reaching Generation Z students due to their unique media habits. With that in mind, In My Opinion was born. In My Opinion’s goal is to empower Generation Z by giving them a platform so that they can be heard by industries and help facilitate change, while helping companies understand this key group and what they stand for.
Who is I.M.O?
IMO is a leading authority on an important segment of Gen Z: college students. IMO provides insight into the buying habits and behaviors of these students through custom research and key trend white papers. The company manages a diverse panel of verified students located on over 100 university and college campuses in the US.
